A slow-moving line at the grocery checkout
First person
: I have to get to the birth day party in ten minutes with this cake! They better hurry up because I need to check this out in one minute. If I don't make it, he is goint to have the worse birthday. He is my best friends, and I need to deliever this cake right now! Why are the other lanes clsoed at this moment? Oh God, please help me.
Third person limited
: A boy was waiting in line with a cake. He looks very nervous. There are ten people in fron of his line.
Third person omniscient
: He needs to get to the birthday party with a cake. He had forgot to do this earlier, and now he is almost late. However, he has ten people infront him in line in the grocery store. It is packed, but three other lanes are closed. If he don't make to the party, his friend will have the worse birthday; he is nervous.
A traffic jam on an area road.
First person:
My car just broke down in the middle of the road. People is going to hate me for creating this traffic jam. Oh well, what can I do. It is not my fault that I don't have the money to buy a new car.
Third person limited:
The man's car just broke down in the middle of the road. The man feels very helpless. Everybody else is amazed at this old car.
Third person omniscient:
The man bought the car for five hundred dollar. It is a very old car, but he does not have money to afford it. After one day he bought it, his car is broken down in the middle of the road. Everybody else is mad at thim, because he just created this massive traffic jam. He feels sorry for creating such mess, but he can't help it.
A person at bat in a championship baseball game
First person:
I have waited this moment for two years now. To play in the championship, this is just way to exciting. I told my parents are taking tons of pictures today, they better do.
Third person limited:
The boy walked with a bat with a proud face. He walks in a way that is somewhat arrogant. His parents are taking so many pictures from the time he stepped in to the field.
Third person omniscient:
The boy walks in the field with a proud feeling. He is very proud of himself to be in a team that is playing the championship baseball game. He have been playing baseball for two years, and now he is playing the championship. He wanted to remember this honarble moment, so he asked his mom to take several pictures. His mom just take about two hundred pictures in one minute.
Someone who is giving his first public speaking assignment.
First person:
I am confident that I am going to do this speaking assignment well. I have prepared for this for several hours. Why am I nervous? I should not be nervous, but why am I? Oh wow, all of the people are paying attention at my turn. How nice is that? They were just talking to their friends, but now they are actually paying attention? This is unfair. I do not want to do this anymore.
Third person limited:
He walks to the front with confidence, but as soon as he sees the crowd, he looks very nervous. He has not strat his speech yet. He is looking at the people.
Third person omniscient:
He had prepared for this assignment for several hours. He also practiced with his friend several times, so he thought he would not have any problem. Although the audience is still talking with thier firends, he thinks everybody is actually paying attention at this turn. He feels very nervous, and he thinks it is unfair. He know he needs to start, but he just can't.
